This exciting news was accompanied by camera samples shared on the Chinese microblogging platform Weibo. OnePlus China's President, Li Jievia, took to Weibo to make this revelation. Past leaks suggest that this device will sport a periscope zoom camera, utilizing the OmniVision OV64B sensor for photography, complete with a 3x optical zoom.

Showcasing the Advancements Furthermore, OnePlus has shared camera samples captured with the periscope zoom camera, highlighting the sensor's impressive capabilities in low-light conditions.

Shipping and Launch The OnePlus 12 will be shipped with the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor and feature a Sony LYTIA LYT808 sensor as the primary shooter. The device is set to showcase the latest LTPO OLED display, known as the X1 Oriental Screen, with a 2K resolution and a peak brightness of 2,600 nits.

As for the official launch, the OnePlus 12 is expected to debut in its home country, China, in December, followed by a global launch in January 2024.
